Eww, the nylon straps on your kiddos high chair are disgusting & smelly! But don't worry, I don't judge you - mine were too. Cue entrance of the Roka Harness silicone high chair straps: I am one incredibly happy mama now! These straps are everything you've been dreaming of and more.
If you're debating the purchase, just don't. These are one of the most ingenious baby products I own and am frankly appalled that all high chairs aren't sold with these for hygienic purposes. I'm a rehabilitation RN and while baby E is my first child, I am no strangers to adaptive and innovative feeding equipment so I know when something is truly stand-out - the Roka Harness silicone high chair straps are!
I have the 5-point harness system for my popular Abiie Beyond high chair and it works like a dream. Of course when I ordered these, I assumed they would make my life easier in terms of cleaning and hygiene, but I didn't realize what an incredible time and frustration saver they would also be when adjusting the straps!
These adjust with simple and incredibly easy to use clips that pull up and slide right off. Adjusting them as my son ages is SO much easier with the Roka Harness compared to the nylon straps the chair came with. I have also taken the Roka Harness straps off quickly and easily for a thorough washing in the sink as my son ground yogurt and fruit into the center clip.
I'll be honest, I hadn't actually taken off my son's nylon straps for a true washing since we started using the chair 2 months prior, because it was so difficult to take off and put on! So with every use, I was wiping food gunk deeper into the nylon straps and essentially creating a smelly Petri dish that secured my son to his chair - YUCK!
I'm perhaps a little too excited for these & telling parent I know about the Roka Harness. They are just that simple but that good!
Easy to install and clean
So easy to clean! So much better than the straps that come with the highchair when it gets old and stinky!
I work in childcare, so the one thing I said to myself was "GET GOOD HIGHCHAIR STRAPS". Because, ew.
I came across these Roka harnesses, they were sold and had the best reviews. So I got them!
They clean that easy that I haven't even had to put them through the dishwasher yet. The food and art materials wipe straight off, they don't smell, the print on the outside hasn't wiped off. Amazing. Well worth it!
My baby is a climber and needs to be strapped in but I was dry retching cleaning his chair cause his straps smelt horrendous. So grateful I discovered these
